This week we will be celebrating Read Across America and SEL (social Emotional Learning) Day.

THURSDAY 3/5 – Dress Like a Book Character Day
Students and staff are invited to dress as a
favorite book character. Bonus points for the
teacher and students if you bring your book and
share it with the class.

FRIDAY 3/6– SEL Day + Cozy Reading Day
The district has designated Friday as SEL Day.
Students and staff may wear cozy clothes as we
slow down, relax, and build positive reading
habits together.

Good Day Families,

We have been organizing our Lost and Found, and this is the final call for the first round of clothing items. If this belongs to your child, please let us know or stop by the front office to pick it up.

We also kindly ask that you label your child's clothing and belongings with their name. This helps us return lost items much more quickly.

Hemos estado organizando los articulos perdidos y encontrados, y este es el ultimo aviso para la primera ronda de ropa. Si esta prenda le pertence a su hijo o hija, por favor comuniquese con nosotros o pase por la oficina para recogerla.

Ademas, les pedimos amablemente que coloquen etiquetas con el nombre de su hijo/a en sus prendas y pertenecias. Esto nos ayuda a devolver los articulos perdidos mucho mas rapido.

Please join us TODAY as we remember W. Jacob Vega , our second grade student who passed away tragically with his mom, Brandi. A memorial service will be held today at St. Arimathea Church, 680 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT beginning at 4PM.
